The aim of our intervention was to restore a viable space partition and bring back natural light in all spaces. The house includes two units: a main living unit running on the ground floor and basement of the house. The ground floor, connecting with the street and the backyard, is used as day living space while the basement hosts the night space: master bedroom suite, dressing and bathroom. The second floor is a one-bedroom rented apartment. Each unit has its own entrance and outdoor space.
